Here is what some previous yoga dance participants had to say:
“I love yoga dance! Everyone should try it. It’s a great workout and a great complement to a more traditional yoga class. The dance is taught in bite-size chunks so you never feel overwhelmed and the class always ends with a lovely relaxation.” Pam Broadhead, Pensions Consultant (Yoga Teacher in training).
“This 10 week block has been a fantastic experience. When I first saw Jo demonstrate I never believed I would be able to do it myself. 10 weeks later I am definitely getting it. Just a bit more fine tuning that’s all. It has been really rewarding seeing progress each week and working towards something. Thanks Jo.” Charlie Hill, Education Officer and Community Artist.
“We have laughed, strengthened and energised. It’s been a great different style of yoga to try. Jo has made me notice my grace and elegance. Thank you it’s been a brilliant 10 weeks.” Charlotte M-J, Secondary School Student.
“I enjoy these classes because they can be hard work depending on whether you wish to push yourself. Jo is an excellent teacher and her bubbly personality makes each class fun.” Ruth Stears, Learning Mentor.
“Jo is a lovely enthusiastic teacher and I have really enjoyed her classes! Her positive energy is very contagious.” Helen, Research Scientist.
“I really enjoyed doing yoga dance for the first time. It provided sustained exercise and time for reflection too.” Judith Webster retired Business Development Manager.
