Gathering Places
The Sharrow Performing Arts Space is where we hold our evening classes. It is a calm, spacious and light-filled venue with underfloor heating and on-site parking for cars and bikes. It can be accessed from Mount Pleasant Road in Sharrow. See map
The Aum Room is a peaceful, fully equipped studio nestled in the heart of Nether Edge, Sheffield. A small sacred space for quiet transformation. Our Thursday morning class takes place here, though when the weather is nice we sometimes practice outdoors.
Seasonal Yoga in Sheffield & Online
At Yoga Nature, we offer a weekly rhythm of classes that follow a shared seasonal theme, inviting you to move, breathe, and rest in tune with the Earth’s cycles.
Whether you join us in person in Sheffield or online via Zoom, each class is part of an ongoing, nature-led journey - an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and live more consciously, both on and off the mat.
Our practices weave together functional movement, restorative stillness, and the gentle presence of yogic philosophy, mudra (gestures of energy and intention), mantra (sound and resonance), and meditation. These elements support a deeper connection to self and season, allowing practice to ripple through life beyond the mat.
What to Expect in Every Class
A shared seasonal theme, rooted in nature and the turning year. A mindful blend of:
🪐 Functional, intuitive movement
🪐 Breath-led transitions and pauses
🪐 Simple mudras to anchor energy and intention
🪐 Gentle mantras – spoken, chanted, or silently offered
🪐 Meditation woven through or closing each class
Teachings from yogic philosophy, offered with grounding and care.
A warm, inclusive space for all bodies, all levels.
You don’t need to be flexible or experienced - just open to showing up, softening, and listening in.
Yoga Nature classes are more than just physical practice, they are a way of remembering your place in the web of life. A way of returning - to breath, to Earth, to each other…
“Through movement, stillness. Through sound, silence. Through practice, presence.”
